Collection: National & CompX Lock Keys

National Lock and CompX locks are found on millions of file cabinets, desks, credenzas, mailboxes and storage units. This hub groups our National and CompX code series in one place. Most listings here are key pairs.

Series include NA12 codes (A1–A1000, 001N–1000N, 0001PO–5000PO and many lettered 1–240 series), NA14 codes (M1–M970, AT101–AT3960 and more), and series on the 1069G, RO3, BO1, S1069H and IL11 blanks. Some are shared with Chicago, Bommer, Florence, Olympus and Timberline locks.

Where to find the code: on file cabinets it is usually stamped on the face of the lock cylinder, around the keyway, sometimes very small. On desks, check the lock on the top drawer. If you still have one key, the code is often on the key bow. Match every letter and leading zero.

If your cabinet was bought used, check that the lock has not been swapped: a re-keyed lock will not match its stamp. Read how to find your key code and Will this key fit?. Related hubs: file cabinet keys, office furniture keys and mailbox keys.

How to order: open the listing whose code range includes your code, type the code in the Key code box, type it again to confirm, and add to cart. The box only accepts codes in that series, so you can't pick the wrong one by accident. Orders before 2 PM ET ship same day.
