Collection: Marine & Outboard Keys

Lost the key overboard? Most outboard ignitions, control boxes and marine compartment latches carry a key code, and a code is all we need to cut new keys.

This hub groups our marine series. For engines and ignitions: Yamaha, Mercury Marine and Kawasaki codes on the YH38 and YH52 blanks, and the OMC-style 01–35 series on the OM10 blank used on many Evinrude, Johnson and control-box switches. For the boat itself: Southco and Mobella 800- and 900-series codes on the MBL1 and MBL1R blanks, used on cabin doors, hatches, glove boxes and storage lockers.

Where is the code? On ignitions it is often stamped on the face of the switch or on a tag that came with the keys. On compartment latches it is usually a three-digit number on the face of the lock. Every listing in this hub is a pair of keys, and a spare on a floating key ring is a good idea.

If the code is unreadable, the switch has been replaced, or the system needs a chip, a cut key will not work. Read how to find your key code and Will this key fit?. See also motorcycle and powersports keys.

How to order: open the listing whose code range includes your code, type the code in the Key code box, type it again to confirm, and add to cart. The box only accepts codes in that series, so you can't pick the wrong one by accident. Orders before 2 PM ET ship same day.
